| SETTING L - When casting under the most favorable conditions, such as a jig, spoon or spinnerbait with your back to the wind, maximum RPMs were achieved, assisting favorably in the long distance casts. |
| SETTING M - When casting crankbaits, minnow baits or other baits with great wind resistance or multiple centers of gravity, overruns are controlled, adjustments are automatically corrected in flight and casting distance is extended. |
| SETTING A - In high acccuracy bait presentations such as pitching and flipping, this is most suitable for the strongest brake setting and works well with flourocarbon line. |
| SETTING W - When casting into the wind with flat-sided crankbaits or plugs, allowing easy deceleration. |
